Last days in Virginia Beach

Hallo zusammen! Ich bin jetzt seit Sonntag in Atlanta. Ich habe hier kein Internet, darum lassen die Blog-Updates auf sich warten.

Zuerstmal ein Nachtrag aus Virginia Beach. Meine letzten Tage dort waren nämlich großartig!!!
Ich habe den kompletten Sonntag auf See verbracht. Petes Freunde haben ein Boot womit wir zuerst Angeln (GEIL!), dann zum Lunch und später an den Strand gefahren sind. Wenn man sonst nur in der Nordsee oder am heimischen See geangelt hat, ist es wirklich richtig aufregend im Atlantik vom Boot aus zu angeln... man weiß nie, was man aus dem Wasser zieht. Ich hatte einiges an der Angel, aber leider alles nicht groß genug zum Mitnehmen. Es war sogar ein Fliegender Fisch dabei, die habe ich noch nie in echt gesehen! Ein Glück, dass ich nicht seekrank geworden bin! Hier sind die Bilder dazu:




Am Montag hat sich Pete´s Freund Mark frei genommen um mir noch mehr von der Umgebung zu zeigen... Wir sind zu den Outer Banks gefahren, ca. 2 Stunden von Virginia Beach entfernt. Wir haben einen Leuchturm besichtigt, waren in Dünen wandern, haben die Surfer beobachtet und haben uns ein Theaterstück angesehen. Das komplette Touri Programm also. Ach ja, bei den Wright Brothers waren wir auch noch... die haben ein Flugzeug erfunden und sind die ersten, die jemals geflogen sind.

I have no Internet, so thats why the blog updates are coming so slow. Zuerstmal an addendum from Virginia Beach. My last days were there, that is great! I spent the entire Sunday at sea. Pete's friends have a boat which we first Fishing (GEIL!), Then to lunch and later went to the beach are. If one else has caught only in the North Sea or to your home lake, it's really really exciting in the Atlantic to fish from a boat ... you never know what you pull from the water. I had a lot on the hook, but unfortunately everything is not large enough to take away. There was even a flying fish while I've never seen in real life! Luckily, I have not gotten seasick! Here, the pictures are this: On Monday, Pete has taken away free to my friend Mark to show more of the surroundings ... We went to the Outer Banks, about two hours from Virginia Beach. We visited a lighthouse, were hiking in the dunes, have watched the surfers and we have seen a play. The complete program Touri also. Oh yes, at the Wright Brothers, we were still ... Who invented the airplane and are the first to have ever flown. Again a very big THANK YOU to Pete and Mark, Virginia's best tour guides)

Ja, ja... ich weiß, ich wollte viel früher schreiben! ;o)

Ich bin jetzt in Virginia Beach bei Pete! Ich will euch ja nicht neidisch machen, aber wir haben traumhaftes Wetter und der Strand ist gleich um die Ecke.
Die letzten Tage waren großartig. Alfredo hat mich in seinem eigenen Flugzeug hierher nach Norfolk geflogen. Ja, wirklich! Beweis:



Das war wirklich ein einmaliges Erlebnis! Echt wahnsinn!!!

Dann gings gleich weiter, direkt nach der Landung... mein erstes Baseball Game:



Petes Mutter und sein Stiefvater sind cool! Dank den beiden konnte ich bislang den Bus umgehen :) Ich war am Strand und im Aquarium. Einen ganzen Tag am Beach rumhängen, das war klasse. Total beeindruckend: Delphine ganz nach am Strand:


Am Donnerstag waren Pete und ich beim OAR Konzert und haben Harry getroffen. Ich will hier gar nicht ins Detail gehen über das Treffen mit ihm. Wenn man davon absieht, dass ich - natürlich - nicht die erhofften Antworten bekommen habe und man es ganz nüchtern betrachtet, war der Abend ziemlich cool. Bier in einen Kaffeebecher zu füllen, um es für unterwegs mitzunehmen - auf den Gedanken bin ich vorher nicht gekommen.


Das Konzert war klasse, ich war sogar CROWD SURFING! Und ein bißchen betrunken war ich auch. Musste ja das beste aus dem Abend machen...


Das waren die letzten Tage im Schnelldurchlauf. Heute hatte ich einen geilen Pooltag bei Petes Freunden. Die Männer musster arbeiten und wir Mädels haben am Pool gesonnt, Pina Coladas getrunken und Reggea Musik gehört... Urlaubsfeeling pur!

Großes Dankeschön schon jetzt an Pete, der sich wirklich super um mich kümmert und sich ganz viel Mühe gibt!

Yes, yes ... I know I wanted to write much sooner! ;o)

I am now in Virginia Beach at Pete's home! I dont want to make you too jealous, but we have fantastic weather and the beach is just around the corner.
The last few days were great. Alfredo has flown me here in his own plane to Norfolk. Yes, really! Proof:

This was truly a unique experience! AWESOME!

Then we went straight on, right after the landing ... my first baseball game:

Pete's mother and stepfather are cool! Because of the two, I was able to bypass the bus so far:) I was on the beach and the aquarium. A whole day hanging out at the beach hang, that was great. Total impressive: dolphins very close on the beach:

On Thursday Pete and I went to the OAR concert and met Harry. I dont want to go into details about the meeting with him. If one ignores the fact that I have - of course - not getting the expected answers, and you look at it neutral, the evening was pretty cool. To fill beer in a coffee cup to take it on the road - an idea I were not thinking about before.

The concert was great, I was even CROWD SURFING! And I was a little drunk, too. But I had to do the best with the evening...

These were the last days in fast. Today I had a hot poolday at Pete's friends. The men had to work and we girls just have tanned, were laying by the pool drinking Pina Coladas and listening to reggae music... Holiday Feeling!
